Title: Track # in View shows all Track #1
Post by: Shado7398 on June 03, 2014, 10:42:28 am
I'm using JRiver 19 on PC.  In my Library, when I double click an album to pull up the list of Tracks in View, the Track # column shows every song as Track # 1.  However, when I click on individual songs for these albums and check the tags, the songs still have the correct Track # tag information (i.e., 1, 2, 3, etc.).  Any idea why this is happening?  Incidentally, if I just right-click an album in my Library and hit Play, it will add the album to "Playing Now" in the correct Track order.  It's just frustrating when browsing my Library.

Where specifically is it getting it wrong?  In a track info view?  Which one?

When I click on an album to view the list of Tracks on that album.  The list shows every Track as Track # 1.

Well that means the track number is wrong.  You can fill them by hand.  Right-click > Library Tools > Fill Track Numbers From List Order can also help.

No, the tag information for Track # is still correct.  When I click on an individual Track from the album's Track listing and pull up the tag information for that individual Track, it will show the correct Track # (i.e., "2" if it was the second track on the album).  It's just when the Track # column showing all Tracks on the album shows, it lists all Tracks as being Track #1.

I wonder... is this a category view in details mode?

Shado... could you possibly post a screenshot?
