Title: Does JRSS Subwoofer support different crossover freq. between channels?
Post by: ronkupper on June 05, 2014, 01:29:12 pm
Hi Guys,

I moved from Silent + Room Correction to JRSS Subwoofer, 60 Hz lowpass after reading this post and seeing both Matt and Mojave agree: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=86212.0  :)

The question is -
With Room Correction I had different crossover points set between the fronts (60Hz), center (80Hz) and surrounds (120Hz).
After reading that JRSS Subwoofer turns "Move bass..." into "Remove bass..." I wonder what would happen for content between 60-120Hz in the surrounds or between 60Hz-80Hz in the center channel?

Best regards,
Ron

The bass will be removed from the speakers.  The subwoofer will contain the bass afterwards.

Hi Matt,

So even though JRSS Subwoofer is set to 60Hz Lowpass the subwoofer will contain content up to 120Hz if present in the surround channels?

That's how I understand it. I know you asked Matt, though. :)
