Title: playing digital input from M Audio Transit
Post by: steverw on June 05, 2014, 11:03:20 pm
Hi, I have MC18 and an M Audio transit USB audio device that can capture analog audio in or TOSLINK digital input.  I have it connected to my TV digital out.  I want to listen to the digital input from M Audio through J River.  Is this possible?  If not possible through J River, is there another program that can do it?  System is Windows 7 64-bit, i7 4770.  Although I feel thick right now, I know my way around computers.  I have a feeling I'm just missing something simple, appreciate any advice on coming up to speed on this.

Found out how to do it.  File --> Open Live --> ASIO.  Works now for analog capture, but not optical digital yet (get sound, but garbled).
