Title: it's Been 70 Years After D-Day

it's Been 70 Years After D-Day

I bet it was hell on the beaches

I have heard many stories about D-day and WWII

I do believe they were the greatest generation.

It is Sad that we are losing about 400 men and women from the armed forces each day of this generation.

I am very proud of all of them.

No offense but,

I'm glad this "flag party" is over in Paris.
I deeply share my grand father philosophy [God knows why ...] when, as a WWI veteran, he specifically asked :
" No medals on my grave ... please ... these were such hard times I don't want to carry them forever".
It made a lasting "anti-war" impression on me as I was a kid.

Lets hope your country is never involved in war again.

War is not always the answer, but in WWII it was for many reasons.

We can not allow countries to practice Genocide no matter what their race, religion or nationality is.
