Hiya! I need some help. I have a dac that only plays up to DSD64. I have some files which are DSD 128. How do I play these files? What settings do I need to set?
Your help would be much appreciated. :)

Welcome to the forum. Your options are available in DSP Studio > Output Settings.

Thanks! I got that much correct. :) Question is what we choose? Thanks!

There are currently no options to selectively bitstream DSD64, without enabling bitstreaming for DSD128/256, or only enable bitstreaming for stereo tracks but not multichannel ones.
So you have to do one of three things:
- Disable bitstreaming and convert all audio to PCM
- Use Zone Switch to send DSD64 files to a zone which has bitstreaming enabled, and convert all other formats to PCM
- Use DSD Encoding to convert everything to DSD64. (note: this has a PCM conversion stage)

Thanks! Option 3 was the most attractive to me since I have dsd 64 files. However, when I click on the dsd 128 file, I get a error message that the dsd 128 playback failed. That is even after I select for everything to sampled to dsd 64. The same dsd 128 files play nicely on my AK240. Very puzzling...

Something just occurred to me: do I have to, at the same time as using option 3, disable bitstreaming? Thanks

I just tried it. It works now that I have disabled bitstreaming. :)
Thank for all your patience. At least now I don't have to worry about converting my files. :)
