Title: Caption in theater view when browsing images/homevideos
Post by: raldo on June 15, 2014, 03:22:21 pm
I've made a several views that mix photos and videos.

Why is there no caption (name etc) beneath the photos/videos when listed as thumbnails?

Under "tools\opions\theaterView\customize file info panel" both images and videos are configured similarly as movies under manage\Edit Template. Movies show captions but videos/photos do not.

Anyone?

It's by design that image views don't show thumbnails.  Video views should all show thumbnails.

It's a judgement call to show thumbnails for image views -- normally the captions are worthless and the image contains all the data.

You mean "captions" not "thumbnails" above?

Are the templates applied to views, as opposed to a per file basis? If per view, what determines what type a view is (image, video, movie, etc)?
