Title: Help with LAPTOP setup

Hi All,

I just downloaded MC19. Works great and got all my music on my laptop FLAC files. I am using the Ipad app to control MC19 on my laptop and that's integrating fine too.

I have the laptop connected to an Ifi Nano DAC and then that connects to my NAD preamp. All cool.

What I want to do is be able to wake my lap top or MC19 through the app on my ipad instead of walking over to it lifting the lid on my laptop opening MC19 pressing play and so forth. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Do you have Wake-on-LAN (WOL) enabled on your laptop?
This may have to be set in the BIOS or your network adapter's drivers.
 
JRemote should be able to wake your computer.

Working great & saved me from another app on my ipad!

BIOS enabled, set my network card to allow waking the PC and it rocks!
Just some searching in JRemote to find the Sleep etc. hidden all the way down in the settings.
