Title: LAV-Splitter broken after MC update w/o internet connection
Post by: JeTie on June 23, 2014, 03:36:31 am
After update from MC v19.0.128 to version 134ff the LAV filters stop working.
Is it somehow possible to update/implement the LAV-filters offline, i.e. w/o internet connection?
Thanks in advance.

I found a topic where in the issue is being discussed not long ago but unfortunately it provided neither solution nor workaround...

You'll need an Internet connection, sorry.

You can download them somewhere else and manually copy them over using a flash drive.

I tried but yet w/o success. Somehow MC remembers whether sync/install of the LAV filters was done or not (as mentioned in the other thread) but I've no clue as to how and where; seems to be neither in the registry nor the library. Only way for me to get it running again is to reinstall MC v128 which was the last release I installed having internet connectivity.
So I would appreciate if someone would elaborate on how to fix it w/o internet connectivity.

If you're in a pinch you can just use the external filters you've copied over until you have internet access and can go the Red October route.
