Title: .asf issues

I can't seem to get any .asf files to work. All I hear upon playback is an eerie pulsating sound similar to the signal that the extraterrestrial life sends back to earth in the film "Contact". Any known issues with .asf files? Please don't make me use Windows Media Player. I don't think I could go on...

Do you have WindowsMediaplayer?If yes did you update?Something to do with the new-and exellent-windows codex.You do not need to open WMP if you set MJ and your browser.I mean you will never see WMP
