Title: [19.0.147] Hulu & Youtube not functioning in Theatre View
Post by: Gatherum on June 29, 2014, 06:25:04 pm
Attempting to play anything with Youtube or Hulu in Theatre Mode cause the following error:

"Something went wrong with playback.

Details:
The file could not be found. Check that the filename in the library matches the filename on disk."

It's been doing this for one or two months now, if not longer, across multiple builds. I know for a fact that there is nothing wrong with what I am attempting to play from Hulu. What do?

I apologise if this is a known general issue that has already had a thread made about it. Is this happening to everyone, or just me?

YouTube works fine for me.

Hulu is not working.  It looks like they changed their service.

Youtube is working here for me as well.  I got the same error the first time I tried playing, but then it worked as expected.

Some videos work for me and some don't.  Error is:

"Failed to find or open file. (hr=0x80004005)"

I tried versions 146 and 152.

It looks like some videos, especially music videos, have more restrictions on them.  Maybe those videos should be filtered out or at least made apparent that they can't be played.  Thanks for the report.
