Title: MP3 Files Won't Play

Just downloaded and installed 8.0.  I have Windows XP Professional Edition.  I have some mp3 files that I am attempting to play.  Some are playing with scratchy noises throughout, and some won't even play at all and cause the program to exit with no messages or information.  Very frustrating!

Any ideas?  Thank you.

What version are you using?

You might try checking for updates in MJ Help.

Just downloaded today.  It was the latest version.  I went back and deleted the files and ripped them with Media Jukebox and they played fine this time.  They must have not been happy with the previous files, which I ripped using Windows Media Player.

What version of windows Media Player Do You Have Installed?

MJ8 does not work with The New Windows Media Player Version 9

Media Center 9 Also Aval From J Rivers Download Page Works With The Latest Version Of Windows Media Player 9 Installed.
