Hi All,
Maybe you can help me! Until version 19, I have never had problems with the software. Since version 19, as I start the program, it stops at the end of the first song announcing a reading problem. Afterwards everything is fine.
Also when I stop listening to music but leave the program running, after a while when I switch back to MediaCenter, the program stops working. In version 19, I have no exclusive use with JRiver as if I would in Direct Sound modus... As the Asio Driver for Zodiac (my DAC) from Antelope isn't working (whatever settings I use), I get always the message "Playback could not be started using the format...." though it works with the same settings in Wasapi mode...
I have always been happy with MediaCenter, but if I cannot solve those problems, I will take a look at other software...

To help identify the source of the problem, please try:
Another output mode (not ASIO)
Another device
Other formats of files
Other possible causes are:
Antivirus software
Wrong configuration (see the wiki audio topics)

Agreed. This would be a good place to start:
http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Sound_Problems
If that doesn't help you get it sorted, we'll need some further details. Mostly, exactly what settings you're using, and what you've tried to solve the issue. A copy of the log package (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Logging) available under the Help menu (the whole Zip file) collected after reproducing the issue wouldn't hurt either.

Strange as I removed the Asio Driver from my Zodiac Gold Dac. Wasapi mode worked normally with the standard driver, so I can now change the DSP settings and selecting 48 KHZ for a 48 KHZ, or 96 KHZ for a 96 KHZ file, previously it worked only with 192 KHZ. The first listening is no more faulty. The only problem, well in fact it is not a real one, if Wasapi is working correctly, is the ASIO mode is not available. I noticed a sound improvement too, maybe psychological... I will try to reinstall the new asio driver from Antelope, to see of there's a correct behaviour too.
Thanks to you all :)
