Title: OPPO 105D: Help Setting Up JRiver to push & OPPO to Render
Post by: Birddogthecat on July 06, 2014, 09:38:22 pm
I am trying to setup JRiver 19 to push music via USB to the OPPO 105D. I have installed the latest OPPO USB Drivers for Windows. I do get music to play. But, when I check Player Path, JRiver displays a message that JRiver Audio Engine no being used?!

Does this mean that the OPPO is acting as the player and not the renderer? I would love to add screenshots but I do not know how.

Thank you, Christopher

I think you are playing to the Oppo's DLNA zone rather than configuring a zone (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Zone) with the audio device (Tools → Options → Audio) being set to the Oppo's USB connection.

OK no matter which version Mac or PC, latest versions,  I use and no matter what video conversion format I choose for the DLNA server my Oppo reads videos as MP4 and says File not supported…. it also does not understand cue files that are related to ape audio files which my Oppo reads fine when directly plunged in to the USB port.
