Title: ASIO Proxy
Post by: dean70 on July 13, 2014, 05:21:27 am
Came across this http://sourceforge.net/projects/sacddecoder/files/foo_dsd_asio/ , which is an ASIO Proxy to convert PCM to DSD and output to your device ASIO driver (either DOP or Native). Allows 4 different (Int and FP32) SDM conversion types and will convert up to DSD512.

I actually preferred this using SDM Type B FP32 over the native DSD128 conversion - gave a cleaner sound (esp noticeable with piano).

Just add the foo_dsd_asio as the Audio Device, go to Open Driver Control Panel and specify your device ASIO driver and conversion type.
