Hi Everyone
Can anyone help me?
I want to convert some songs to DSD using the DSP settings and I want to listen to some songs in their native PCM.
At the moment, every time I want to change this, I go into the dsp settings and change it. Can I choose to have the DSP conversion on some songs, but not all?

Have a read of this Wiki on Zones (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Zones). I've not done it but, you could create a Zone called DSD and one called PCM then use Zone Switch to change between them as needed. Each Zone can have it's own settings.

I think this would work, but can I make certain songs play in certain zones.
What I want to do is just select the song and have it play in a designated zone.

You could give tags to the songs you'd like to play in different zones and automatically switch to them using ZoneSwitch. (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=76605.0)

If you have a set of tracks in PlayingNow , Zone Switch will not switch back and forth between zones with Zone Switch.

Ok so I set the zones and it seems to vary from playing DSD to playing PCM, but yeah once the tracks are in 'playing now' it wont switch.
Does this mean it is impossible to have two sets of DSP?

You can use the AutoEQ plugin which will let you set different equalizer curves per track using the fixed point equalizer. I am using it, but it's not perfect since I mainly need low end adjustment and the lowest slider is 60hz.
So far I have found no way to use ZoneSwitch in PlayingNow.

But Autoeq wont change between converting to DSD and just playing straight PCM?
Actually, I may have to give up this quest.
My external DSD DAC blew on the weekend. Out of warranty too :o :(
