Title: Media Network not connecting to remote.

I have used JRiver for quite some time now, and have become especially fond of the ability to control it via the media network (gizmo). I lately purchased a purpose-built computer for music and the media network is setup as I did in the past, but for some reason Gizmo is unable to connect to the server. When I test the server connection it says that everything is working fine. The only difference between the two computers(both PC's) is that this one has very few processes running in the background. Are there processes/services that Media Network relies on to connect to Gizmo?

Check the firewall.  Make sure Media Server is running on startup.

Thank you very much. The security center was disabled, I guess it has to be running even if I decide to turn off the firewall.
