Title: Get Movie & TV Info - Date?
Post by: marko on July 23, 2014, 12:33:00 am
Can the automatic lookup be made to get the full release date, like manual does, rather than just the year?

I can't reproduce this.  For me, when auto importing "Bourne Ultimatum" it fills in the release date as 8/3/2007, just as clicking "Get Movie & TV Info" does.  Maybe it's for specific movies?

Automatic won't override any fields that it may have gathered from file tags or the file name (except the Name).
If the tags or the name contain a year, it might override the automatic lookup.

I bet Hendrik nailed it.  I'm not sure about "order" but I bet if you set up a Tag on Import rule to clear [date] when Media Sub Type is Movie, that might solve it.

"Would you nail that?" is a commonly asked question where I come from.
