Title: JRiver 19 Clicking Noise during playback JRiver 18 is fine [solved]
Post by: huberddp on July 26, 2014, 07:56:44 am
I have just started to have clicking noises when all tracks played with JRiver 19. When I use J River 18 there is no noise. what's up with this? Windows sound is fine too. There is a bug in JRiver 19 please fix it. I use the same exact settings for both versions.

Try increasing buffering in Options > Audio.  You could also try alternate output methods on the same dialog.

I have tried everything. It is the application because JRiver 18 plays fine. The problem is I purchased 19 otherwise I would just stay with 18

You're having a problem that's very uncommon.  What happens if you switch modes in Options > Audio?  Try Direct Sound, for example.

Thanks for the help. It was in interaction with Asio4all. Not sure what happened to it. I had been using Asio4all for like a year now without issue.

I changed the Asio4all driver back to default then it started working properly. I must have changed a setting by accident.
