with MC you can feed your remote in different ways. I would like to ask ask for a genres-dependent "play now" display (at the remote e.g. gizmo):
for genres classic it would be nice to see as usual title and album but as an adon: Composer, Orchestra, Conductor, Soloist and Chor but no artist
for all the rest for genres: artist, album, and title
Is that possible?
regards

It's not too clear what you're asking, but the views for Gizmo are fully customizable. Look in Options > Media Network > Customize views for Gizmo & WebGizmo.

I have a audio only system.
If look at Customize views for Gizmo & WebGizmo I only see "audio" (and the sub direktories) and "playlists". I couldn't see "playing now"
I am looking for an genres-dependent "playing now" screen.

This is something you will have to do yourself.
The "Now Playing" screen for Gizmo is baked into the app, but you can edit WebGizmo until your heart is content.
Look in C:\Program Files (x86)\J River\Media Center 19\Data\Library Server\Gizmo\Default (or similar) for the relevant files to edit.

Is that true? It's a while since I tried editing WebGizmo, but I couldn't get the none standard fields to display and I thought that I had seen that MCWS didn't support the use of more fields than Gizmo.
I'd love a demonstartion of how to do it if I'm wrong. I'd love it even more if Gizmo could be modified to allow the use of none standard fields.

You're correct, it doesn't appear that the genre tag is baked into MCWS.
