Hey,
I'm upgrading some components so will need to do a clean install of Windows. What's the process of transferring my library over.
Is it just a case of Backup Library > install Windows > install MC > Restore Library.
Does a library backup also include general settings (madVR customizations, Audio options etc.), Standard/Theater View configurations etc? In other words, is there something that means I don't have to manually change anything after re-installing Windows (except installing MC of course).

The backup includes settings and they will be restored if you select that option.

I just made a copy of %APPDATA%\J River\ and moved it to the new install last time. Seemed easier.

Thanks.

That won't restore your registry settings (the stuff under Tools > Options, largely).
The backup/restore system can.
