Title: Updating JR in Windows 2012 core or minimal server mode
Post by: v_erich on July 28, 2014, 11:53:40 am
Hello,
I use JRiver 19 on an dedicated high end audio PC with Windows Server 2012 R2, optimized with Audiophile Optimizer.
I use it in core mode or sometimes in minimal server mode.
In both modes I can use JRiver fully, but it is not possible to update the program, this works only in GUI mode.

Is it possible to change the upgrade to work also in core/minimal server mode?

BR
Erich

Sorry, but certain things require the GUI.  Install of a new version is one of those things.

Is a silent update without showing things an option?

We don't support running on Core mode, especially with those so called "Optimizers" screwing with your system. Sorry.

I think you can run the installer with a /Silent switch.
