Title: Media Center 17...Should I Upgrade?
Post by: Yamaki on July 29, 2014, 08:38:17 pm
New user, no idea what I am doing, can't get it to work, reading as fast as I can on Media Center 17 (I wanna listen to my music!!!) but just got totally lost and now I'm confused.

Do I need to upgrade? How can I get this software running? I keep getting error messages that something isn't compatible with the 2ch 192kHz something or other...or the music file never starts playing...it just sits there at 0 seconds.

Do I need to set some defaults? Why won't any of the output options work? Should all items be set to 192 kHz because I have some files at that spec???

Help...  ?

Please install MC19 if you want help.  Then slow down and post again if you're still having troubles.

OK...I've calmed down after a very frustrating session last night. Thanks for the suggestions.  :)

I've upgraded to MC19. My license key says I purchased an upgrade to MC20? Odd....

I will spend some time reading the Wiki, FAQ and other information available. I know new users are such a bother sometimes. I moderate on an automotive site and I understand how it can be with noobs. Now I are one! ;D

At least I can listen to some music tonight without issues.

The MC20 will work with the current MC19 version and with MC20 when it is released.
