Title: Network TV tuners
Post by: Z0001 on August 01, 2014, 03:51:37 am
Hi

I want to have MC on several different PCs around the house with each PC able to pick up TV reception through MC using some network tuners.

Key requirements are that on the main HTPC I want to have access to multiple tuners so that I can record/watch multiple channels. On the other PCs I will only need say 2 TV channels per PC.

What is the best and most efficient way to set this up? Does each PC need to be "tied" to a defined tuner box? Or is the model that you access any tuner from any PC? Can I have all the tuners located by my antenna output and router?

New to network tuners, as you may realize!
Thanks for any help
Z

I (and many others) use Silicon Dust HD Home Run tuners (http://www.silicondust.com/) and they just work.  Have a look at the various models for your country.
