I have to set up a minicomputer to be used (along with a Marantz NA-S11) for the conversion from PCM to DSD On The fly, the hardware will be a Shuttle DS 61 but do not know which CPU to choose someone can help me please.
Thank you

A recent i5 should be enough. Maybe an i3 can do it as well I think it would be borderline.
My NUC i5 does it wonderfully.

i3 is also capable. I am using NUC DC3217IYE which upsamples all my PCM files to 5.6MHz DSD on the fly.

Sorry for hijacking this thread but, InflatableMouse: do you also use convolution? I wonder if the NUC i5 manages this also.
