Title: I screwed up with registration
Post by: jnahman on August 07, 2014, 09:51:59 pm
Hi,
I purchased MC today and before I could copy the license number I inadvertently (hot key) closed the browser. And before receiving the registration email, i hit restore on MC19, which used up one of my restores. Can you straighten this mistake out?

Thanks
jaime

Don't worry about the restores.  That system is to keep the honest people honest, is all (sharing your license with others, etc).  If you run out, for legitimate reasons, just post a request here explaining what happened, and they can be reset.

You get ten per year, so unless something crazy happens, or you reinstall your computer from scratch once a month (what are you doing then), you should be fine.  If you need to license multiple machines, you can do it all at once without using up additional restores using the MJR file they email you when you do a restore.  Copy this to the other machines and double-click it.  The MJR files "last for" 14 days after they're created, and can be used on any of your other PCs during that time period.
