Many music videos, especially Vevo ones, have more protection and unfortunately Media Center can't play them.  If it only happens with certain videos, this may be your problem.

Unfortunately, this is YouTube trying to block access from other applications.
It used to be that with the HTML5 player you had access to the original H264 video at any resolution.
Then YouTube changed the site so that MediaSource Extensions and DASH playback were required, limiting anything which doesn't support this to 720p. (which is why MC can only download 720p videos now)
Now it seems that videos which have forced advertising simply will not play without this support.

When do you think this resolved the situation?
When do the developers of this problem?

This also could be a location issue, there are lots of things I can't see that you can in the US and vice versa. The Devs aren't going to provide a hack ... this is a You Tube issue (unless you can't watch any YouTube vids
