Ok, I'm transitioning over from MM and still learning MC. One feature that I've missed from MM was excluding "The" from artist names, i.e. "Beatles" instead of "The Beatles" when sorting by artist name.
I found a reference that this feature was added in MC 19 but I can't find how to do it. My searches keep coming up with obscure release notes that aren't really relevant and don't explain the actual process to accomplish this. Thanks in advance for any help.

Search for "articles" in options. Search is at the bottom of the window.

Interestingly, if I type anything in the search box under options, the program hangs after typing the first letter and I have to shut down the program and restart it. hmm...

That's very odd.

Rebooted the pc and same thing. I can't use that search box.
Other functionality seems fine, but using the search box causes the program to hang. ?

Not sure what is causing the freeze... In the mean time, you can find articles under [Tree and View > Sorting].

I went to my laptop that had an older version (19.0.146) and I could type in the search box and found the solution.
So, I went back my pc that has 19.0.162 and tried it again, only I waited this time and after about 60 seconds, it allowed me to continue typing in the search box. For whatever reason, it hangs for a period of time after that first letter is typed before unfreezing. I had been impatient and assumed it was permanently frozen and closed the program. I can repeat this bug each time I try to type in the search box on the pc.
Anyway, I have the answer now and it works. Thanks!
