Hi - I just looked on the handheld plug-in page and it doesn't look like you need a plug-in for this unit....
"Media Jukebox does not require drivers for the following players. You can access it by selecting the mapped drive in Handhelds/Devices section of organization tree.
Archos' Jukebox 6000"

STEP 1. TURN OFF YOUR CAPSLOCK KEY
Step 2. There, isn't that better?
Step 3. What was the question again?

Doof - as usual, you put into words exactly what I was thinking.

ECHOECHO,
What version of MJ are you trying to run? If you are running MJ v7 email me at steve@jriver.com and I can get you the Plug-in you need. If you have MJ v8, you will not need a Plug-in. If you choose the normalize option during the transfer, only the files on the player will be affected, the originals will not be modified.
In regards to how to upload, in v7, drag and drop the files to the location you want and the files will transfer immediately. With v8, drag and drop the files and then click on the root level where you will be given an option to upload the files.
