Hello everynone,
I am trying to connect Gizmo to my Laptop, so that when I am at places without internet connection (with my laptop and android phone with me), I can remotely control the music played at the laptop from Gizmo.
How can I do this?
I already tried creating an ad hoc connection at my laptop but my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) can't connect to ad hoc networks. (and there is no work around to this, for the time being).
Are there any other ways to achieve this?
I understand that I need a network so that I can add the Laptop's IP to Gizmo. That means that tethering won't work.
Thanks in advance!!!! :)

You at least need a network. Gizmo will accept either an Access Key or an IP address.
You could investigate portable routers. I recently tested one successfully. I don't remember the name, but it creates a LAN you can use for both the laptop and the phone.

Might want to look into this first before buying though :)
