I can't figure out how to show movie infos on the side or bottom.
I found split view but how to show the movie data in the second panel?

in the second pane choose for list style, tiles.... that is the closest you can get I think. :) or use thv and change the info panel to your liking.

Selecting something in the first pane (list) does change nothing in the second pane...
No matter what kind of style i set.

splitting panes allows you to toggle between to areas like a pane view on the left letting you drag to a playlist on ther right. It is not for eye candy per se, its for additional functionality. Or multiple monitors I suppose.
or use Theater View and change the info panel to your liking.

Outside the Theater View i'm not looking for eye candy, i'm looking for usability in content management ;)

ah... I understand.. split view has nothing to do with it.. but you can set tiles to the underpart... in the attachment, you see the movie I selected above, in the underpart using tiles... I also use a split screen, its at the right side, just showing what is playing now.. :)

well... in my opinion, thv is sometimes more useable in content management then standard view.... its just an other way to go through 'content'... very usefull, imo...
