It's running on Linux. We hope to have it running in MC20 for Mac.

Nice - I wasn't expecting a custom video renderer on OS X.
My only concern is that OpenGL usually forces the discrete GPU to activate on MacBook Pros, which knocks off about 2 hours of battery life.
Unfortunately OSX switches GPU based on APIs being used, not programs/GPU load like Nvidia Optimus.

I don't have much experience with video on Mac yet, but if it turns out to be a big problem we might also implement a CoreVideo based renderer, if that looks like a feasible solution. But for now sticking to one cross-platform solution is the obvious way to go.

Will this mean theater view will be active in MC20?

Please keep this thread on topic for video. Its going to happen, since the basic playback functionality is nearly done, and nothing can change that.

Split: I don't need video (http://yabb.JRiver.com/interact/index.php?topic=91258.0)

Yeee haw, by the way.

I asked this earlier in the thread only because I have no experience with JRiver video functions. Is Theater View one of the functions or features of JRiver Video or something separate?
