Title: drag and drop from jriver outside the program
Post by: JohanJ on August 21, 2014, 03:04:04 am
Hello,
In the mac version I can select files, albums, playlists and drag them to the play window of HQplayer.

Now I switched to linux but I canīt do above anymore. Thats too bad because I use JRiver mainly as a music library tool, and HQplayer as my playing software.
I read on the forum all kind of problems with drag and drop.
Can anyone tell me the status of the latest linux distribution? Is it possible to drag and drop outside the program, just like the mac version, or is it a local problem on my side.

I use a late 2012 mac mini, with Ubuntu 14.04 lts. I installed the latest debian distribution version 20.0.7.
My files are on a local, firewire attached HDD (fat32).

I would love to hear from you.

Johan

I don't think this is supported yet.

You might be able to do it with Options/File types.  That will allow you to use an external player, but it may not be working yet in the Linux version.
