Title: 512 DMX Protocol Files

A friend of mine is a DJ.  He has some very expensive lighting that is programmable.  He writes his own "programs", which he says use 512 DMX protocol.  Does anyone exchange these programs over the Internet?

Forgot to ask--shouldn't there be a program to read a sound file and automatically generate one of these DMX files, maybe using different profiles?
