Title: Playing an Audio File in one room from another
Post by: idhToronto on August 27, 2014, 09:26:44 am
I am not sure if this question has been asked/answered before but I cannot find any reference so here goes:

When I use JRiver on a machine in Room A and send an audio file to be played on a machine in Room B why can I not stop the file while I am in Room B - I have to go back to Room A to stop the playing of the file

Is this by design or am I missing something?

could you described how your system is set up please.

eg. MachineA -- PC running JRmedia server MachineB running MC as client.

where are the media files stored? (MAchine A, NAS ...) any DLNA devices other than PCs?
