I used to use WASAPI output mode for use with a USB DAC. It was working fine. Now WASAPI has disappeared from my settings after upgrading to MC19. I am left with kernel streaming. I would rather have the WASAPI mode back though as I know it was working perfectly.
I am using Win7x86 SP1.
Thanks!

WASAPI is still an option. Try rebooting or reinstalling.
WASAPI can be used in exclusive mode, so that only one program can use it.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I uninstall MC19 and reinstall, will i lose all my settings and configuration?
There is nothing else installed on this machine; it's an old mac mini requisitioned solely for rendering music.

You don't need to uninstall.
Is an older version of MC running?
-
Well funnily enough when I originally ran the MC19 installer, it seemed to just install separately to MC18. I was expecting to be prompted to upgrade but I wasn't (Might be an idea to implement this i think?) So I ended up with both MC18 and MC19 installed. I have since uninstalled MC18 and all seems OK apart from this.
So are you saying I should just re-run the MC19 installer without uninstalling first?
-
You should install MC20. That's what is on our download page.
-
Ok, but if I want to just get mc19 working well for now, what do I do? Just re run the installer?

Yes ... keep 18 on until version 19 is correctly installed. Then uninstall 18. Keep 19 until 20 is installed etc.
Just easier that way, otherwise you will have to reimport your library backup from the prior version.
