Title: Save music to multiple drives when ripping a CD?
Post by: steelstring41 on September 02, 2014, 11:18:04 pm
I was wondering if it's possible to have multiple save locations when adding new music to the library. I rip CDs fairly often and don't want to have to sync the files to my backup later on. Is there a setting to save to both (C:) and an external backup all at once? Thanks!

No.  Sorry.

You could copy manually once the rip is complete.

It is possible with another software package which I used before buying JR MC 15.  I set up a multi-rip configuration to output AIFF, FLAC and mp3 formats to 3 locations.  It can also be set up to output same format to multiple locations.  I still used it to rip CDs tp play in MC.

You can accomplish the same thing with a one or two-line batch script and windows scheduler.

It looks like this is going to be my best option. Thank you!  :)
