Title: Advice? Soundblaster Live Value card - digital out
Post by: Gatobrit on February 05, 2002, 11:38:39 am
Folks,
I have acquired one of the above cards and I've installed it in my P4 W2K system and connected it via the Digital Out to my Cambridge Soundworks speakers.

I notice that the output is really crackly when playing MP3's or Media Streams, especially when I move the mouse or the video moves etc.

I am in the process of upgrading my PCI video card to AGP but would this resolve the poor quality output? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Check for a FAQ on your motherboard.

BIOS settings may fix the problem. (PCI latency, etc.)
