People may be looking at moving their HTPC's to Linux as well. For some, missing Netflix support on Linux might be a reason to stick to Windows so here's the good news:
Google Chrome recently added support for the type of DRM that Netflix playback requires. ArchLinux users can install google-chrome from AUR and enjoy Netflix natively on their Linux machines.

Netflix is not an issue for me but I've read entries from people moaning about the vagaries of Netflix distribution to platforms such as MC. If this effectively keeps the playing field open, all to the good.
