Title: How to Make jriver 20 Freeze
Post by: johnsg on September 12, 2014, 03:35:16 pm
1. Rip a new album and allow jriver Auto-Import to add tracks to Library
2. Note that under Options > Library & Folders > Configure auto-import... 'Analyze audio for audio files' is checked
3. Go back to dbPoweramp and re-rip all the tracks, overwriting the previous rips.
4. Fire up jriver and immediately try to open the Artist > <Artist Name> leaf on the treeview
5. jriver will freeze

Why would you expect that to work?

Hi JimH: I guess I'd hope the program would catch the exception and handle the situation more gracefully than freezing to the extent that Windows offers to close the errant app.
