Hi,
In standard view, I often browse my movie collection in thumbnail mode.
Hovering the mouse on a movie pops up a semi transparent window with description and credentials.
I hate how the popup screen is semi-transparent, making the popped text very difficult to read.
Is there ANY way to disable or control the transparency percentage ?
And what does Tools/Options/General/Popup transparency controls ?
I have been using MC for a long time and still can't figure that one...
I am using the default Noire scheme.
Thank you !

The tooltip transparency is not configurable. However, it should be easy to read. I wonder if you're using weird monitor settings or something?

No weird monitor settings, I generally find it annoying, although it is worse on the mancave PJ. I often have to get closer to the screen just to read the popup, not so much because of the size as the reduced contrast.
Still, what does that setting controls if not the tooltip ? I have tried the three settings...

It controls the player window that pops in to the top of the Display View.

Thank you Matt, now I know !
Any hope of making the tooltip transparency percentage customisable in future releases ?

+1
It, and the menus, are more transparent than I'd like.
-
Let's make it a general transparency ratio ;D

Next build:
Changed: Options > General > Popup transparency mode also disables transparency for menus and tooltips if selected.
