Title: could there be an UNBUY button
Post by: janet on February 04, 2002, 04:54:02 pm
I would like an easy way to remove media jukebox.
Could there be an inexpensive (say $5-$10) UNBUY button?
Or a REVERT TO EARLIER VERSION BUTTON (say $2)?

For now Windows Media Player is good enough for me, and does not cause all the problems that media jukebox does.

janet:

Are you using 7.2.278/280, or one of the 8x flavors? 8x is still in beta. Depending on which version you're using, you may just be encountering normal bugs and glitches. What specific problems are you having? Maybe someone here can help.

If you're dead set on getting out, you can uninstall either through start>programs>media jukebox>uninstall, or through start>settings>control panel>add/remove programs>MJ. Once you're done, go back in through Windows Explorer to delete all of the JRiver>media jukebox folders, You can also delete any MJ keys remaining in the registry (careful! This is discussed in another recent thread.). You may want to pick through your Windows temp files too. What it can't do however is get your money back. No uninstall for that, I'm afraid.
