Title: Ripping cd's in MC20 does not work
Post by: Tsiobbel on September 15, 2014, 01:06:49 am
Hi,
I've tried to rip some cd's in MC20. MC 'rips' but file size is 0. Same ripping works fine in MC19. Any suggestions ? Thanks for your help.

I'm not seeing this here.  What file format are you encoding to?

Flac - compression level 0
Verify encoding
add 4k
add seek table

I tried those settings and still can't repro.  What are your rip settings?  I've got the defaults (analyze audio, encode concurrently with ripping, do not rip to a cue file, etc.)

Hi John,

Problem solved ! I've changed the encoding mode for 'file conversion' (which I normally never change) from 'Monkey' to Flac and now it works fine. Thanks and best regards from Belgium.
