Title: Moving from MC18 to MC20, details please
Post by: stevenkl on September 15, 2014, 02:15:20 pm
I've had MC18 for over a year, and over time have tweaked, changed settings, and through trial and error gotten it to do what I need.  The forum helps, but is not exactly direct (how a question is asked determines the quality and exactness of the answer).

Today I started to install MC20, and the upgrade process looks like a fresh install of MC20 that exists beside the existing install of MC18.  Is there a way to pull the settings from a library in MC18 over into a new library in MC20?  How do I not lose what I had in MC18 (everything from having eliminated duplicates to finding cover art) in the process of moving to MC20?

In MC18, backup the library.  In MC20, restore the library.

Thank you Matt!  That was easy and painless!
