Title: FLAC Player for IPod
Post by: jazzrome on September 16, 2014, 09:53:55 pm: Fist I am not an APPLE fan but my wife has an IPod that I must support. Does any one have a FLAC Player they would recommend that support album art and works with MC

Another point about the PonoPlayer. JRiver provides software for them.

I use Onkyo HF Player, which is a little less than perfect in that it stores all files a second time in the iPhone music folder of the laptop, rather than allowing me to choose where to save them. But it works to play FLAC files through the phone.

That is a good, positive suggestion Awesome Donkey. ALAC is as good as FLAC from a music quality, tagging and cover art point of view, and it would allow Jazzrome's wife to use the standard iPod player.

EDIT: Doh! Your shiny awesomeness just took a hit . . . and so did mine. The OP posted this question in September last year! We must watch more carefully for resurrected threads. ;D
Maybe the answer will help someone else in future though.
