Title: Two MC 20 DLNA issues
Post by: mrsinger on September 17, 2014, 05:45:35 pm

I am using MC 20.0.16  talking to a Cambridge NP30 as a DLNA renderer.

1) the box with the track status does not update the runtime (see attached)
2) playback stops at each track in the play list.  must manually click on next track

Hi,

noticed that there was no reply to your problem with DLNA having to be manually advanced to the next track.  I have the same problem with a DLINK DCH-M225 DLNA renderer.  Can't see to find any other thread that addresses this type of problem and fixes it.  Did you ever find out what setting fixed this?

There is a DLNA setting in Media Center that may help.

DLNA Extra?

Did you try the suggested solutions posted in response to the two other threads that you posted? Don't ask questions if you don't want to listen to the answers...

In my experience you sometimes have to make changes to the DLNA renderer itself. I could toggle my AVR to play "this song", "this album" or "all songs from here on".

In the "this song" mode it behaved like you described.
