Title: Stacked thumbnails, any way to control which is on top?
Post by: BartMan01 on September 18, 2014, 10:03:00 pm
Some of my views in Gizmo and Theater View have multiple items under one thumbnail so it stacks them all together.  Is there anyway to control which one ends up on top of that stack?  For movies in a series, I want the first movie on the top of the stack.  For movies were I have a move and special features all stacked as a single entry, I want the movie thumbnail to be on top.

Right now it seems kind of arbitrary which one 'wins' the top of the stack.

Unfortunately, no there is not.  I wish there was though.  Would be quite useful--especially for Images.

if I remeber correctly, once you have selected the files you want to stack, the one you right click on, to execute the stack command, gets the topmost position.
at least this is what I get with movies.

ignore my post. i think your'e not talking about items you stack together so my suggestion doesn't apply at all.
