How can I :
1. Prevent/lock out any possibility of JRiver attempting transcode. It should serve native files only.
2. Stop JRiver from pegging the CPU monitor. System remains responsive (so JRiver priority likely is optimal)...but I'd still like to limit CPU utilization.
3. Provide a solid DNLA connection to a WD TV Gen 3. Currently, that connection drops frequently. Have no idea if it is associated with these CPU spikes.
System in question is a Win 7 Thinkpad T41P w 1.7ghz pmobile+1.5GB . It sits at 4% with only our 2ea other servers running.
Win 7 scores are
processor 3.2
memory 4.1
disk 4.9
