any plans to implement chrome cast support for JRemote?
-
Yes, it will be added. Can`t tell you exactly when at this time, but it`s probably a couple of releases away.
-
Lespaul,
Just a quick question. Pretty sure it has been asked before but didn't find any clear answer on this...
Do you plan to release JRemote for Android systems ? If yes, when it is planned ?
Thx

Check out the eos app (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=89392.0) for Android.

Had a look on it already.
Not sure there is an option to shutdown the HTPC (JRiver server) using it.
It's a useful feature for me...

The option to shutdown the HTPC does exist in eos - it's available from the Settings page.
Cheers!

does jremote offer description, actors, directors, trailers (tags) when viewing videos? really wishing gizmo/eos had this ability. tough to use portable players when one doesnt know what the video entails when only info available is the filename.

Going to buy it for testing.

Great news I look forward to it for now I am using plex which can be a little flaky!

JRemote for android is being worked on right now. The eos app is a good alternative as mentioned above.
-
Chromecast support would be great! Hope you can add it soon.
-
It`s pretty much next on my list of things to add, but I don`t want to give a time estimate just yet.
-
Any eta on chrome cast support?
-
any news on chromecast support for jremote?
-
Version 3.10 is ready and waiting for review, but it is mainly a bug fix release.
The next feature I add will be Chromecast support. It will be a few weeks before you see it though.

Bump

Anything new on Chromecast support?
-
It will be in the next update, but it is a bit delayed because of the work on Android.
Won`t be out until february.
-
Hi. I'd like to take this opportunity to say what a fantastic app JRemote for IOS has turned into:). I use it much more now than the somewhat dated Theaterview.
Can't wait for Chromecast. I don't think it's happened yet, has it? I see the web site mentions it, but the release notes don't seem to mention it and I can't see it anywhere in the app itself.
-
when is chromecast support coming for JRemote for ios?
-
the website quotes chromecast support!
AND MORE...
- Categorized search using JRiver`s fuzzy search engine
- Airplay and Chromecast support
- Wake and shut down your computer
-
Any update on Chromecast support? I know JRiver purchased JRemote, but has development ceased?
-
No. It's just shifted to the Android side for a while. No update on Chromecast.
-
Well, that is very disappointing. In November Les said it would be in the next update. I guess I'll look elsewhere.
-
*bump* Just in case the developers have forgotten...
CS support for JRemote would be awesome!
-
It would be especially cool given that there is now an audio-only Chromecast that could be used with JRiver.
-
Any news since 2014? It is version 22 already
-
No news.
-
are there still plans for chromecast support for jriver on iOS?
or in jriver itself - perhaps chromecast shows as a zone?
want to ditch plex for the kitchen TV. it's the last nail in the plex coffin for me
