Title: MJ7.2: ID3-tagging problems with in_mpp.dll > 1.7.9.e
Post by: pduun on February 01, 2002, 12:11:17 pm
I have noticed that ID3 tagging does not work anymore when using in_mpp.dll > v1.7.9.e

I'm using the external encoder plugin configured to use mppenc.exe v1.7.9.c

Try the following
1) Uninstall the MP /MPC plugin if installed
2) Install and register in_mpc.dll v 1.7.9f or later
3) Rip and encode an audio track to MP  format
4) The encoded file will appear as Unassigned with no tags whatsoever

I'm using the latest version of MJ7.2 but the same problem exists with 8.0.x beta

Oh my god - you are right...

I didnt check this at all.
I use the latest F.Klemm encoder 0.90s, but I do have MJ-mp|PLS| plugin installed, that provides with the tagging.

Try to change something in the properties of one your mpc's, for instance year.
Then delete from library and then reimport. Then it should be tagged.

But you are right, must be a bug that it doesnt tag when ripping and encoding.

try after you have backed libr. up, to do an update of all files.

Then they are all tagged.
