I just found these apps on the App Store. Do they essentially do the same thing? I see that My River hasn't been updated since 2012, and JRemote had an update on Oct 1 2014, which certainly me leaning towards JRemote. They appear to do the same thing (remotely control MC20, stream to iOS device). Is one particular better than the other? (cost isn't a concern, 3 bucks vs. 10 won't break the bank either way, I just want the one which works the best, offers the most features, etc.)
Thanks.

JRemote is now the official iOS Client.
JRiver bought (I think) JRemote from the developer, and hired him. Lespaul now works for them, and is hard at work improving it and building an Android version.

JRemote is jointly owned by Robert Ryan (Lespaul) and JRiver.

JRemote is in a league by itself. One of the main reasons I run JRiver is JRemote.

So will the price come down now that it is a JRiver product? After all you don't charge anything for the android app (Gizmo).

We don't plan to change the price. Maybe later, but the development for remotes is an area of focus for us, and it's not cheap to do.
